The topic for our December gathering is JOY! Many people mistake joy for happiness. However, happiness is an emotion that lasts for a little while and then is gone. JOY is something that lasts! It is an attitude of the heart that combines gratitude, peace, contentment, and enthusiasm for life. Having JOY is a choice that gives a person stability and perspective when circumstances become stressful. Having JESUS in your heart is the first and most important step to having JOY in your life.
