We had one dad stand up at the end of the meeting and tell how he didn't want to participate in APD this year as it felt like one more thing to do. However, one of his kids (who has special needs) literally told him when every meeting was, asked him to come every time, then he finally began coming mid-way through the year. He said it was one of the best decisions he made, and it impacted his family so much as he didn't realize how little he encouraged his kids. The proud exercise was just as big for him as it was for his kids. Great cap off to our last meeting of the year!
